LaceWeave

LaceWeave is a small, free utility program for visualizing lace and other weave structures with deflected threads, written by David M. Raup. LaceWeave interprets WeavePoint and WIF files that have been previously saved. LaceWeave then draws, to screen or printer, a simulation of the woven fabric.

The LaceWeave program was written for Windows 3.1 in 1997, but works well with later Windows versions (it's been tested with Windows 95, 98 and 2000). Note that this is not a WeavePoint program, and all questions about using LaceWeave should be sent directly to Dave Raup, e-mail: draup@itol.com.

LaceWeave is freeware. The zip-file is only 26Kb, a very quick download.

After downloading, unzip and see ReadLace.txt for how to install LaceWeave.

Note: LaceWeave requires a file called VBRUN300.DLL. This file may already be installed on your harddisk, but if you receive an error message that this file is missing, see ReadLace.txt for how to download this file from Microsoft. Note that you may need to put VBRUN300.DLL in the LaceWeave folder.
